Author: ezey // Category: ,

Mamat yg terlibat dlm video nie mmg kurang hajar abis lah. Ni dah melampau. Vid nie aku dpt melalui blog Kalam Abu Musaddad. Siasatan sedang dijalankan tp bagi pendapat peribadi aku.....suma yg terlibat nie mmg x patut kalu dipenjarakan...patut diBUNUH jer terus. Biar semua rakyat MALAYSIA sedar dan tahu bahawa menghina ISLAM n MELAYU adalah bukan something yg bleh dipermainkan.

Jgn fikir kami MELAYU ISLAM relax n diam bermaksud kami xkan bertindak. Ingatlah pepatah MELAYU..... "Air yg tenang jgn disangka tiada buaya"

Penghinaan terhadap MELAYU dan ISLAM skang nie semakin melampau. Jadi kita sebagai MELAYU mesti sentiasa bersedia. Buat preparation secukupnyer untuk hari yg bakal mendatang. Kite xnak kejadian mcm Kejadian 13 Mei berulang...tp nampaknyer mmg itu yg MEREKA mahukan.....so bersedialah semua...

Man....I never thought i would ever make myself to any concert..but since my baby was so eager to see N.E.R.D or even more specific...Pharrell Williams...we managed to get ourselves there. Without patience....we got there waaaay to early. LOL ^^. We entered directly to the backstage without knowing the actual main entrance. After watching certain bands preparing for their performances, stage set up and others, we asked the guards to guide us to the main entrance. After that we have our breakfast there.

At around 1.30pm (if i'm not mistaken) we managed to get in OFFICIALLY...hahaha. As the main show for N.E.R.D and KORN will only start on midnight...we watched some of our local bands that were performing such as Hujan, Bunkface, Estrella, Gerhana Ska Cinta, Estranged and much more.

I was really freakin amazed with our local bands performace!!!. Their shows were top class!! especially Bunkface and Estranged. They're really ROCKed the show man!!!

I've uploaded most of the pics taken in my facebook account, please add battlefanatic05@gmail.com, or just click the links below to see them. Below here i also posted a vid of Bunkface live from Sunburst. Sorry for the audio quality as i was at the very front of the crowd so i'm very near to the speakers lol.

Dragonball Evolution - My personal review

Author: ezey // Category:

Finally Dragonball Evolution is out! And yesterday i've gone to KLCC with my family to watch the movie. Even though i've read so many negative reviews from the net, I was still enjoyed watching it. It's true that they didnt follow exactly the real storyline based on Dragon Ball anime, but hell....I dont give a damn bout that! haha.

The effects of their Ki's were cool. Their fighting techniques were marvelous, but the battle between Goku n Piccolo was too short for me. With their current Ki's effects they should do better on the battle coz that's the climax of the movie.

Anyways, my personal rating for this movie is 3 out of 5. I hope they'll improve their story n try to make them as much similar as the real DBZ, if they're looking forward to continue this epic in live action.

Toll hike postponed indefinitely

Author: ezey // Category:

KUALA LUMPUR: The toll hike for five major highways that was set to take place on Sunday has been postponed indefinitely.

Works Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Zin Mohammed said the decision was made due to the negative public reaction and the current economic situation.

“When the announcement was made, there was negative public reaction. As a result, the Cabinet decided today (Friday) to postpone the toll hike indefinitely,” he told a press conference at the Works Ministry here on Friday.

The toll hike, had it taken place, would have increased toll rates on the North-South Expressway by 0.68sen per km; the Sprint Highway by between 30sen and 50sen; the Sungai Besi Highway (Besraya) by 10sen; the Ampang-Kuala Lmpur Elevated Highway (Akleh) by 50sen and the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) by 40sen.

The announcement met with strong opposition from consumer groups, lorry and bus associations as well as Members of Parliament from both sides of the House.

They said it was not a good time to increase toll rates considering the economic situation.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who is in Thailand for the Asean Defence Ministers meeting, had also asked for the decision to be reconsidered.

Mohd Zin said as a result of the toll hike cancellation, the Government would have to fork out an additional RM287mil to pay the concessionaires - PLUS (RM195mil), Sprint (RM36mil), Akleh (RM27mil), Besraya (RM9mil) and NPE (RM20mil) - for the period Jan 1 to Dec 31 this year.

Mohd Zin said RM245mil was already paid to PLUS, Akleh and Sprint in the form of compensation due to a scheduled increase in January last year that did not take place.

“The Finance Ministry will prepare the compensation as stipulated in the concession agreement.”

Mohd Zin said the money being used for compensation was also the public’s money that could have been used to implement other projects that could benefit the entire country.

Meanwhile, in Putrajaya, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the toll hike postponement was not meant to woo voters in the three upcoming by-elections.

He said the toll hike was put off because the public protested and was unhappy with the hike, even though the decision meant that the government would have to fork out a substantial amount of money to compensate the five highway concessionaires.

“This is not an election gimmick. This is not to attract voters (to support Barisan Nasional) and they have our undertaking that it (toll rates) will not be increased once the by-elections are over,” the Deputy Prime Minister told reporters on Friday.

Three by-elections will be held within the next few months - in Bukit Gantang (Perak), Bukit Selambau (Kedah) and also in Batang Ai (Sarawak).

The Bukit Gantang parliamentary seat fell vacant when its MP, Roslan Shahrum of PAS died on Feb 9 while the Bukit Selambau state seat is empty when assemblyman V. Aurumugam resigned on Feb 8. The by-elections for the two constituencies will be held on April 7.

The Batang Ai state seat in Sarawak is vacant following the death of its assemblyman Datuk Dublin Unting and the Election Commission will decide on polling date for this seat on March 4.

Najib also confirmed that the postponement was indefinite.

“We do not know for how long as it will depend on our affordability (to pay compensation). We will make whatever necessary decision when the time comes.

“But by not increasing the toll rates, the government has to fork out an additional RM500million a year and that is tax payers’ money,” he said.

Najib said the increase announced by the Works Ministry earlier was a “moderate increase” and the government had to pay more compensation if there was no increase at all.

“The amount will be substantial and it will add up over the years. But the public is so averse to any increase; which I understand.

“So the government decided not to increase but this means we will have to set aside more money for compensation,” he said.

On Thursday, Mohd Zin announced that road users would have to pay a higher toll when using the North-South Expressway (PLUS), the Sprint/Kerinchi/Damansara Link highways, Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Expressway (AKLEH), Sungai Besi Highway and the New Pantai Expressway (NPE).

For the PLUS highway, it was a 5% increase. This meant that toll charges from Bukit Kayu Hitam in Kedah to Kempas in Johor would increase from RM108 to RM113.40.

A trip from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh would increase from RM26.50 to RM27.90.

For the Sprint/Kerinchi/Damansara Link highways, it was an increase of between 30sen and 50sen.

The Sungai Besi Highway was to see an increase of 10sen, while the AKLEH and NPE were to be increased by 50sen and 40sen respectively.

Mohd Zin had said the increase was minimal and hoped the public understood that the increase was stipulated in the concession agreements that the Government had signed.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, however, urged for the decision to increase the toll rates to be reconsidered.

He said the matter will be discussed in the Cabinet meeting Friday, which will be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

“People are having difficulties. The situation is not right for a toll hike. I feel that this matter needs to be discussed again in the Cabinet.

”The decision may come in the form of measures that will included in the second stimulus package or through some other measures,” he had said in Pattaya, where he was attending the Asean Defence Minister’s Meeting.

Now THAT was really a relief....a good choice have been made by the government. Even though the government have to fork out millions of ringgits to compensate, it is the best for the country as people are now struggling for survival.

For now let just hope that they wont increase the toll after the election. I really hope that Najib is telling the truth, that they didnt postponed the toll hike to make sure that they win the election.

I'm not fully trusted with Najib for now but let just wait and see.

Anyways, thank you government for finally understand us. I pray to the Lord that Malay BNs will win this coming election. Win the election and prove to the whole country that you ar not as bad as what people think.

And finally a word from me, a simple commoner.....

Toll increases from March 1 for five highways (Updated)

KUALA LUMPUR: Road users will have to pay higher tolls for five major highways beginning March 1.

The highways affected are the North-South Expressway (PLUS), Sprint/Kerinchi/Damansara Link highways, Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Expressway (AKLEH), Sungai Besi Highway and the New Pantai Expressway (NPE).

For the PLUS highway, it will be an increase of 5%.

This means toll charges from Bukit Kayu Hitam in Kedah to Kempas in Johor would increase from RM108 to RM113.40.

A trip from Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh would increase from RM26.50 to RM27.90.

For the Sprint/Kerinchi/Damansara Link highways, it will be an increase of between 30sen and 50sen.

The Sungai Besi Highway will see an increase of 10sen, while the AKLEH and NPE will be increased by 50sen and 40sen respectively.

In announcing this, Works Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Zin Mohammed said the increase was minimal and hoped the public understood that the increase was stipulated in the concession agreements that the government had signed.

“The increase was actually due in January last year but we had postponed it until now. This means the government has been paying compensation for 14 months.”

Mohd Zin said the compensation amounted to RM277mil with RM177mil going to PLUS, RM38mil to Sprint and RM30mil to AKLEH, adding that the impending increase was half of what was scheduled.

“There is a shortfall of 5%,” he said during a press conference at the Works Ministry on Wednesday.

The announcement for the increase however comes almost immediately after two toll booths were abolished recently.

The Salak Jaya toll (south-bound) was abolished on Tuesday while the toll at PJS2 (Kuala Lumpur-bound) of the New Pantai Expressway was abolished on Feb 13.

Mohd Zin said the abolishments were unrelated to the toll increase and that it should not be politicised, stressing that it was a contractual obligation on the government’s part.

He said more importantly was that alternative routes existed for all highways in the country, adding that this was the case for all highways but added that more could be done to improve the alternative routes.

When pointed out that the roads were jammed especially in the city regardless of whether it was a highway or an alternative route, Mohd Zin said it was a big challenge having to manage the amount of traffic Kuala Lumpur has.

“Kuala Lumpur has 3.5 million vehicles for a population of about five million people.

Tokyo only has 1.3 million vehicles for a populationf 20 million,” Mohd Zin said, concluding that more effort was needed to improve public transport.

Peh...While we are facing nationwide economy crisis, people are jobless, factory n companies closing and some of Malaysians have become 'miskin', the government managed to increase the tolls for five major highways. Wow, that's a 'relief'.....

The best part is AKLEH where most people are using everyday to reach center of KL with less traffic jam. They increased for about 40-50 cents, meaning it's about 33% of current toll charge. Thank you government. Thank you very much. We all appreciate it.

Maybe the message behind this, is for us to stay home. We dont need to go to work as our salaries have been cut off and cost of living is increasing.

So the best way for us to encounter this, is to start using bikes. Start now before the government start making us bikers to pay tolls. lol
